What is a Social Service or a Social Care Program?
A social service is a needs-based service that will assist an individual to get a basic need that they cannot get or have trouble getting otherwise. The programs listed are meant for an individual to get direct assistance from the organization.
What is considered a Reduced Cost Program?
Reduced cost services are those that are significantly below the market rate for a community. Programs that accept subsidies or offer a sliding scale based on income are also considered reduced cost.
