What Programs we List

All sites are powered by findhelp

Findhelp has the largest social care network with programs in every zip code in the US and Puerto Rico. We have an in-house data quality team that is responsible for adding and reviewing programs, as well as making sure the network is as up-to-date and as accurate as possible.

Programs listed on the platform meet the following criteria:

    • A needs-based social care program

    • A direct service, providing services directly to the person in need

    • Services are offered at a free or reduced cost

    • Services are provided in the US, including Puerto Rico

Customer Sites may add programs outside of this criteria.

What is a Social Service or a Social Care Program?

A social service is a needs-based service that will assist an individual to get a basic need that they cannot get or have trouble getting otherwise. The programs listed are meant for an individual to get direct assistance from the organization.

What is considered a Reduced Cost Program?

Reduced cost services are those that are significantly below the market rate for a community. Programs that accept subsidies or offer a sliding scale based on income are also considered reduced cost.
