Where can I see how many programs have been claimed in our service area?

Tier: Basic, Professional, Enterprise

Overview

Using findhelp analytics to understand how many programs have been claimed in your service area helps you and your organization make data driven decisions about outreach strategy, identify community organizations to partner with and support and assess the impact of community engagement efforts.

The Program Summary dashboard provides information about the program landscape in your community and program engagement.

What is the Program Summary Dashboard?

The Program Summary dashboard shows rolled up information about the types of programs available in your community, an overview of claimed programs available in your community, and details about the most engaged programs. Using filters, you can understand how many programs exist across geographical areas and within social needs categories.

Use this dashboard to:

  • See how many programs, organizations, and claims exist on your site(s).
  • See the most engaged programs in your network along with organizational information to inform and support outreach strategy.
  • Understand if claiming trends correlate with your program outreach strategies.
  • See recently claimed programs.

Viewing Claimed Program Data

The Program Summary dashboard includes charts, metrics, and tables that show claimed program counts and details.

The Programs Claimed chart and metric provide the number of programs that have been claimed and how that has changed over time.

The Programs Claimed On Your Site(s) table provides a list of programs that were claimed on your site. In other words, the user navigated to your specific site(s) and went through the claim process (rather than on findhelp.org).

This table contains detailed information about the claimed programs, such as:

  • Basic program information, including intake tool on the program listing
  • Claim date
  • Interaction, connection, and referral volume
  • Referral follow-up details

Tip

The Programs Claimed On Your Site(s) table is long, so don’t forget to scroll to the right to see all the details available!

To easily view all the details in the table, we recommended downloading the information to a spreadsheet.

To download the data

  1. Hover your mouse over the table
  2. Click on the three lines in the upper right corner
  3. Select Download Data.

Here are some examples of helpful ways to use filters on this dashboard:

Tip

Use multiple filters at once!

Filter

Use and Example

Geographic (i.e. State, County, City, Zipcode)

Use geographic filters to see program summary information in a specific geographic area.

Note: Geographical filters are hierarchical, meaning that the larger geographic filter must be selected before smaller geographic filter opinions are visible. (e.g., Filter on a specific state to see county filter options.)

Example: How many programs that serve Travis county are claimed?

Category

Use the Category filter to see program summary information for programs that provide services for the category.

Example: How many programs that address food needs are claimed?

Program Tag (i.e. Service Tag or Situation Tag)

Use the program tag filters to see program summary information for programs that have that specific service or situation tag.

Example: How many programs that provide Emergency Food services are claimed?
