How do I know if a program will respond to the connection I made?

Tier: Basic, Professional, Enterprise

Overview

When searching for resources there are a few different ways to confirm if a program is likely to respond to the connection. Anyone can use the Connect button to refer people to programs, but before you select the program you can check to see if the program features any of the following: a Claimed Program badge, Certified Program icon, or Featured Program labels.

Claimed Programs

All programs listed on findhelp have the ability to claim their program listing. This means that the program has taken control of their listing on the site and they can use the Inbound Referrals Dashboard  to receive and update information on people referred to their program.

Claimed Programs appear higher in search results as they have a higher chance of following up with individuals referred through findhelp. You can confirm if a program is claimed by checking to see if the Program Card contains a checkmark in the upper right corner.

Certified Programs

A findhelp.org Certification is a recognition of an achievement with the findhelp platform. Findhelp.org Certification is intended for people who manage program listing(s) on the site or who are regularly involved with community engagement efforts. Individuals who complete the training to become findhelp.org certified get a number of value-adds for themselves and their program(s). Programs managed by people who are certified by findhelp.org appear higher in search results as they have a higher chance of following up with individuals referred through findhelp. You can confirm if a program is managed by someone who is certified by checking to see if the Program Card contains the Certified Program icon in the upper right corner.

Featured Program

On white label sites customers have the option to feature different programs that they wish to highlight. This varies by customer and their individual platforms, but they all have the ability to apply Featured Program labels onto any programs they wish to pull to the top of search results. For example, you can label programs that are a part of your preferred network of community partner organizations and highlight them in search results.

The Featured Program labels text can vary by customer. Additionally, customers may have multiple Featured Program labels with different names on a site. Featured Program labels appear on their Program Card on the left underneath the program name and the overseeing organization name.
